They say we don’t design anything on our own. Here I want to show you something I’m involved with and it is designed and built by my friend in Taiwan.


This was done 100% at his home work shop. He has a micro lathe and micro cnc setup.  Mini band saw, drill setup… He did all the CAD drawings by himself. Built and assemble the battery cell. Only the necessities were purchased such as the motor, BMS. I think it took him about a year…

Description: Dogati is an ultra high performance electric bike designed and built by Benjamin Chiu. Running prototype version 1.0 was started sometimes in 2010 and was completed and test ridden in beginning of 2011. Majority of the designs worked out excellent. Currently version 2.0 is being designed and geared for production in 2012.

I just dumped a bunch of photos onto a facebook page… the photos are out of sequence. Just eye candy for you guys. If you guys are more interested in the details there is a build log of this…
